Software Engineer, Frontend - Lead Engineer (Founding Position)

Overview

We’re seeking a Frontend Engineer to help build the UI and user experience of The Projekt Pool. As a founding team member, you’ll shape our frontend architecture and design systems. You’ll work closely with our CEO, backend engineers, and product/design team to craft a world-class product.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontend architecture using Next.js and Tailwind CSS.
• Translate product designs into performant, accessible UI.
• Work cross-functionally with backend engineers and product leads.
• Establish frontend standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
• Continuously iterate based on feedback and performance metrics.

About You

• Fluent in modern JavaScript (ES6+) and frontend frameworks.
• Deep experience with React/Next.js and Tailwind CSS.
• Familiar with accessibility, performance optimization, and SSR.
• Comfortable working with APIs and handling state management.
• Proficient in Git and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Bonus: Familiarity with TypeScript, design systems, or Vercel.

What We Offer

• Compensation: $85,000 - $105,000 annual salary
• Equity: 0.5% – 1.0%
